a giveaway....

ahhh. the wonderful sport of cloud-watching... can you tell i'm a big player? i so love it. this particular day, there were storm clouds all around - large and billowy... and then this hole opened up in one of them. ;) made me think of jane austen's marianne - "there's some blue sky! let us chase it!"

let's try a reverse-game. instead of guessing what the cloud looks like, why not guess what the patch of sky looks like? post a comment and i'll draw a name from the entries, next wednesday - Sept 9th... and the winner will receive a fun little "stuffed" art from me. ;) xo

  1. Oh....finding things in clouds, tiles, etc, a favorite of mine! Well, I see a dog! Laugh!
The blue looks like a snout and then the clouds above it form like ears and then the fron of the body....if you single out the circle above the blue, it looks like a ghost (Casper?)I see a nose and 2 eyes...The greyish darker spot to the left of that looks like a lady with a long dress and maybe a veil...like the Madonna...Told you! I better stop!!!!

  3. I see not one thing, but many. I saw a tug boat dive into the water and became a yellow submarine turned blue, I saw myself peeping out of the porthole when the submarine surfaced and I saw a dove with stretched out wings, If I squinted, I saw a dog, If I turned my head to the left, I saw a heart forming, If I viewed it upside down, I saw the blue bird of happiness, If I slanted my eyes, I saw a pig fly (so pigs really do fly?) Then I shut my eyes so I could really see things closers and I saw a play ground filled with children and laughter. Kids with chocolate and mud pie smiles, girls dressed as princesses, boys wearing pirate hats with parots on their shoulders, girls jumping rope and playing hula hoop, boys on skates and dogs doing tricks, girls dressing cats in hats and reading bedtime stories, that's what I saw! How about you?
(The word verification is Nabin...... A Nabin is a person who views a window of space in the clouds while napping in a cabin. hee hee)

  6. Well, of course it is a tugboat! My favorite of all the ships. It is trying to tug the clouds along, saying "come! share your shade with the world!".
