birds.

i have been seeing birds everywhere.... is it just me, or are birds the in-thing this year? maybe i haven't noticed until now. well - i was quite inspired by all the flutter and had to use some feathery friends in a mixed-media piece i created recently for a dear friend. it is a locket quilt, the heart doors open up... enjoy the birds! ;)
