this is a FANTASTIC book... took me 7 years to read - only because i was "chewing" on every word of it, now and again... you must get yourself a copy of it. if you like poetry, if you like words in art.... this is where it all started for me 7 years ago. i read one of susan's chapters and voila was inspired to use found words for my artwork... i have been hooked ever since. ;)

ReplyDeleteI went and got this book from my public library. She has so many exercises that are so helpful to artists of any medium. I decided I wanted my own copy so I bought a used one off amazon. I think one of the ways I best get unstuck is to gather words into lists to help me understand better what i am really trying to say. Great recommendation! Keep them coming.
