tangles...
been playing with zentangles recently. here is my first serious attempt. ;) i'm quite pleased with it. i must say it is addicting in a sneaky kind of way. at first it seems exhausting to fill in all the spaces, and more spaces... but after a while you just can't seem to stop...
That's awesome......LOve it!
ReplyDeleteCool!
ReplyDeleteI've started playing with those too! I'd like to try a stitched version at some point, it seems a natural progression :)
what's nice about it is that you can walk away for awhile if you want to, and now Jackie K. has my noddle thinking about stitched zentangles! I just made my first fabric/felt book for mostly fabrics and treating it as a sampler(I visit Rebecca Sowers blog a lot), will have to sew buttons in each of the corners and go from there. Happy happies.
ReplyDeleteI love your piece! It's wonderful! Years ago I did many of them in college, but we didn't call them zentangles then, we just called it a design class. LOL I still have the first one that I did when I was in high school!
ReplyDeletethx for the words, dolls! ;) stitching one would be a perfectly natural thing to do for a fiber artist, crossed my mind as well! ;) and wanda...too crazy! you know - they really remind me of M.C. Escher's work... would love to see your h.s. one! ;) xo~Leilani
