the skinny on a fiber cuff.
if you haven't noticed, mainstream fiber cuffs are wide and wonderful! but in playing around with my own fiber cuff creations, i flipped the size around in my head and happily formed a skinny version that mimics braided and knotted bracelets.
start by folding a length of cotton fabric into half an inch - then stitch away at the edges and center and the skinny fiber cuff emerges! add a button and stitch a loop to complete it. make 2 or 3 to wear on one wrist to give the appearance of a wider cuff or to mix up the colors a bit.

button two wrist cuffs together and the cuffs become a choker! quite versatile, n'est pas?!
i'm working up some skinny.cuffs and kits for the shop with my hand-dyed fibers... keep watch! xo
