fear.
this thing.
that wraps around us like
a choking fog and
grips our dreams with tar.hands..
suffocating and snuffing out truthful wild living..
and bids and beckons and spreads like a
plague to those in its path who have yet to
master it..
this thing.
this.fear.
i step on you with mighty boots and wish you
into oblivion
except for the chain that you have about my ankle
i would almost succeed.
though
both my hands cling
to the Life.Thread that holds me
holds me up strong and life.filled..
and wills me to let this thing free
since from It's eyes..
my fingers grasp for the chain continually..
