to improvise.
it all started one weekend when i was away in the country. i had packed lightly and had a lovely skein of art yarn and my art journal. didn't feel like crocheting or knitting my art yarn. had a need to weave. but no loom. thought of branches but then i saw my art journal. aha! so warped away and wove away.. bliss.
then i dreamed this up: i call it the Weaver's Art Journal. it has 5 loom panels, watercolor paper, graph paper, and a wire binding. perfect for the fiber artista! the one who loves texture and colors and mixing her media. the one who can't get away from texture but loves to doodle and paint. this gorgeous journal is Made to Order in my STUDIOGYPSY shop.. :D i even carved a little stamp for the front cover image of a weaving.
We sleep, but the loom of life never stops,
and the pattern which was weaving when the sun went down
is weaving when it comes up in the morning.
