i absolutely love the lake when it is frozen. i remember seeing it for the first time when i came to chicago for college several years ago. it was mesmerizing. all i could imagine was that i was in antarctica.

my studio clean-up is coming along - v.e.r.y s.l.o.w.l.y. but while i'm organizing, i am also creating - check out my new altered lamp. i cut a hole in the bottom of one of my sculptures and attached it to the lamp with wire, then used a low-watt bulb.
this is the original piece:
